Auditions will be

Friday Feb 17th 1:30 in the Gym

Students must try out in order to participate

In order to participate, studenst MUST pick up a permission form in the office. Yes, this does count toward your Satch Patch!

We have a limited number of spots this year, so we ask that each act auditioning meet the following requirements:

• NO LONGER than 90 seconds, including time to get your music set up and get on and off stage. The reason for the 90 second limit is that we have lots of kids who are going to be performing. We want everyone to have an opportunity to show their talent.
• No lip-syncing is allowed.
• Please bring a copy of any music you will need with you to the audition and be prepared to LEAVE IT.
• Please bring to the audition ANYTHING YOU WILL NEED for your act
• Be sure you get a signed permission form turned into the office by Friday, Feb 17th by 9am
• Your child can be on stage only once, either as a solo or in a group.
• Group presentations are encouraged; it gives an opportunity for more students to present.
• Everyone one who performs must try out on the 17th right after school
• You may videotape your child's performance; however, the microphones will be stationary on the stage and won't be able to be moved to accommodate videotaping. A suggestion is that you videotape the tryout instead of the performance. That way you, and others, can enjoy the actual performance that much more!

We also encourage the students to include as many students as possible in their act in order to allow more students to participate. We recognize this is not always possible.

Auditions will be after school and students will need to arrange for their own transportation home as soon as they are finished auditioning.

Kindergarten-3rd Grades 8:45-9:45

4-6th grades 10:00-11:00

Parents are invited to come but seating is very limited in our small gym.

Please be considerate of teachers who will be bringing their classes in

and who will need chairs and room for their classes to sit

All participants need to meet in the gym Friday Feb 24th at 8:00 am for a walk through.

If your student rides the bus please make other arrangements so that your student can be here by 8:00.
