Welcome to Fourth Grade!

We are so excited to be working with you and your children next year!

The following are items that would be helpful (that you might find during back to school sales):

• A backpack

• markers

• 2 packs of #2 real wood pencils

• Red and Blue pens

• Cap erasers

• Personal pencil sharpener

• dry erase markers

• 12 count colored pencils (please sharpen beforehand)

• 1 bottle Elmer's Glue

• 4 Glue Sticks

• 3 spiral bound 100 pg. Notebooks

• 1 steno pad notebook

• Scissors

The following are items that are needed in the classroom. If you would like to donate any of the following, that would be wonderful!

• Kleenex

• Hand sanitizer

• Clear page protectors

• Plastic Sterilite shobox-size containers

• Clear contact paper

• Pencils

• Cap erasers

• Sandwich-sized, and Gallon sized sip-loc bags

• AA batteries

• Dry erase markers

• Wet wipes

• White lined papter (lots of it)

• Black Sharpie Markers

• Sticky Notes

• Paper Towels

• Paper plates, cups, and plastic utinsils

As summer approahes, we have many parents asking what their child should be working on over the summer to be prepared for fourth grade, the following suggestions might be helpful!

• READ READ READ everyday!

• Practice writing (journals, letters, etc.)

• Visit as much of Utah as you can (we study Utah in 4th grade).

• Make sure times tables are memorized and cursive is mastered!

• PLAY, PLAY, PLAY!
