Wasatch School Awarded Prestigious Grant
From Institute of Museum and Library Services
Thanks to a grant from the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS), Wasatch Elementary has been able to purchase and upgrade technology equipment available in our school library. Among our new purchases are two new Apple computers, two sets of computer speakers, two multimedia projectors, a multimedia cart, a VHS/DVD player and a digital camcorder with a case and tripod.
“It is so exciting!” Remarked Miss Davis, Wasatch Librarian, “In the past we have had a mad dash to see who gets to use our available equipment. Now we will be able to meet more of the teachers’ and students’ needs. We will be training our teachers so that all may feel confident and knowledgeable about integrating technology into their instruction.”
